Larox vertical Pressure Filter.

The Larox PF Automatic Pressure Filter is a solid liquid separator that uses diaphragm pressing and air drying to achieve the lowest cake moisture possible compared to otehr types of filters.

The essential features of the fully automatic press are:

- Endless moving cloth belt which transports cake out of the filter to obtain guaranteed cake discharge every cycle

- Filtration on alternate sides of the cloth together with high pressure cloth sprays to ensure cloth binding is kept to a minimum.

- Fullyautomatic PLC control system.

The Larox PF is of vertical construction. Because the filter plates are lying horizontally, the cake forming in uniform and cake crack is avoided, therby providing filter cakes which are uniformly washed and consistent in moisture content. With the combination of diaphragm pressing and air drying, higher filter caske washing efficiences can be achieved due to the better mechanical displacement of liquid from the filter cake.

This pressure filter has a 2.5m2 filter area and is mounted in a 20ft container for ease of mobility. Power and water supply are required to operate this unit.

This unit has not been used in a number of years and its current running condition is unknown.
