Salad leaf washing line. This wash line could be used to wash any product that floats, i.e plastic or fruit and vegetables
 
It was last used to wash salads/spinach and could handle up to approximately 600kg/hr.

Product is fed into the wash trough, washed for about 1 min then discharged into the spinner, once dry it is then discharged onto the conveyors. All electrics supplied that can control all aspects, wash time, discharge time etc. There is also a chiller to chill the wash water.
 
The wash trough has 4 pumps that circulate the water and spray the product as it leaves the tough. The trough is 3m long x 1.6m wide x 0.7m deep. There is a heat exchanged on the side of the trough that chills the water.

The spinner is 1m dia x 0.8m deep and has 4mm st/steel perforated mesh screen.

There are three mesh belt conveyors to take the product away from the spinner

There is a chiller to feed into the heat exchanged on the wash trough.
